Kairos was hauled at Anchor Yacht Basin, adjacent to Burr Yacht Sales for bottom painting, hull waxing as well as a few maintenance items that needed to be done out of the water. This gave us the opportunity to take a few shots of her out of the water.
Since we weren’t able to cruise this weekend we took the opportunity to begin our electronics upgrade, setting up an NMEA 2000 network, installing AIS and a new autopilot. We have a temporary installation of a fan-less PC and a 21″ waterproof multi-touch touch screen monitor, a pair of which will be permanently installed in the pilothouse helm when after arrival in Wickford, RI…Kairos’s new home.
She should splash back in early this week and be ready to go North next weekend.
