A Week of Island Hopping: Block Island-Martha’s Vineyard-Nantucket

Shortly after arriving at Block Island on July 31st the winds picked up from the NorthEast at sustained 25 knots with gusts over 40 knots for the next 24 hours.

Shore side at Block Island with Gale force winds makes for some challenging bike riding. Got some good sandblasting as we rode along Crescent Beach, heading back to Great Salt Pond after our visit to St. Andrews Church for Saturday Mass.
